Over the past years as a user experience designer at Mastercard, there were many projects I was a part of. Mastercard Developers is Mastercard's OpenAPI site with APIs created and powered by Mastercard. Users of the site range from merchants to service providers to independent developers. The site can be found on developers.mastercard.com.
API Product Landing Pages
Every API has an overview on what it is and use cases of implementing the API. Users can access documentation resources and easily get started with creating a project with sandbox keys.
APIs include diagrams of how they work and other Key Information is included on the API overview page. Sections are consistent across all APIs so users can easily look through all the different APIs on the platform and Quick start guides are added throughout the platform for easy onboarding.
API Solutions
Solutions is a section on the API platform that showcases the different ways Mastercard APIs can be implemented. The solutions were designed and created by our teams.
Each use case goes in depth with how more than one Mastercard API can be implemented to solve an ongoing problem. The goal of the Solutions page is to get developers excited about Mastercard APIs and feel inspired to incorporate them.

To give a personality to the API team at Mastercard, there is a blog site where we write articles on various topics around APIs, Mastercard, Fin-tech, and other relevant subjects.
